Ginger Zinger Smoothie

From Hemsley & Hemsley Good & Simple.

What’s in it:

  • 1 small ripe avocado or banana
  • 200g fresh or frozen spinach
  • 50g fresh root ginger
  • 4 celery sticks
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons maca powder
  • Juice of 1 small lemon
  • 600ml coconut water (or water)

How to make it:

Peel the avocado or banana then place in a high-powered blender with all the other ingredients and blend until smooth.

Pour into glasses to serve.
